Materials

We strive daily to improve the quality of materials, producing jewelry that we wear. Passionate about conscious production, we make our jewelery with a base of silver, brass or copper, a subsequent plating of two microns in 18k yellow gold, to obtain shine and prolonged durability. Hypoallergenic jewelry, with a sense of beauty and eternity.

YELLOW GOLD

Yellow Gold has always been revered for its rarity and beauty and its use in jewelry dates back to ancient civilizations. Yellow Gold comes in a variety of golden tones, depending on the composition of the mixture, known as an alloy. Pure 24k Gold is the base of all alloys and, despite a distinctive yellow colour, offers less guarantee and durability than lower carat alloys.

It is usually designed for an 18k finish, whose color resurfaces when pure Gold is combined with metals, such as copper or zinc. Our products are plated with 3 microns of 18k yellow gold, ensuring prolonged durability. Gold plating should last with proper care for many years.

STERLING SILVER

Sterling silver is an alloy of silver, often composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Silver is alloyed to increase its hardness and durability, making it suitable for creating jewelry for everyday use. The silver alloy originates from continental Europe and its use dates back to the beginning of the 12th century.

PLATING COST

Specciale offers an after-sales service for gold plating within the first 6 months from the date of sale of the jewel. This service will only be free of charge, if Specciale considers after consultation that the loss of the plating has not been subject to misuse. For more information on the correct care and cleaning of your jewel, consult our advice in the care guide.

FACTORY DEFECTS

Our jewels have been made by an experienced staff and meet the highest standards at all times. Despite this, and being aware of the craftsmanship behind each design, we insist that any manufacturing defect or breakage be reported to us within a period of no more than 15 days, in order to replace the part.
